This program was created with the goal of promoting and defending the human rights of key populations living in vulnerable conditions It also engages in social advocacy to advance equality in human rights through forums, training processes, cultural festivals on significant dates, theater performances teatro,
, marches, and more. A major focus of the program is the prevention of child and adolescent pregnancy, HIV, STIs, gender-based violence, , and bullying. Additionally, it carries out strong efforts in educating and raising awareness among the population about the defense and recognition of the rights of LGBTIQ+ people.

Capacity-Building Programs

CoCoSI is strongly committed to preventing pregnancies in girls and adolescents, as well as the prevention of HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), gender-based violence, and school bullying. For this reason, the organization develops training and educational processes on topics such as sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive rights, leadership, self-esteem, gender identities, human rights, and more. These educational efforts are carried out with the general population, with a special focus on key groups such as: children and adolescents, people living with HIV, women experiencing violence, the LGBTIQ+ community, and parents or caregivers, among others.

Assistance for Priority Populations:

Through this area of work, individualized follow-up is provided to each person based on their specific needs and the situation they have presented—whether it emerged during a training process or as part of a formal complaint submitted to the institution. From this point, referrals are made to the appropriate central government entities responsible for providing further support. Additionally, CoCoSI implements internal support mechanisms and strategies to ensure comprehensive accompaniment.

This program area is responsible for providing support to people living with HIV, women experiencing violence, and other vulnerable populations in the defense of their human rights. This is done through psychosocial support and assistance in filing complaints with the appropriate authorities.

Political Engagement:

Management and coordination are carried out to establish communication with local and central government entities to be vigilant, accompany, and support the implementation of policies and laws that ensure the compliance of human rights for key populations with whom the institution works. We actively engage in social advocacy to achieve equality in human rights through various actions such as forums, festivals on emblematic dates, marches, among other participation spaces.

Theater "Realidad en Escena":

We work with local and national governments to monitor and promote policies ensuring human rights for key populations. Our advocacy includes forums, commemorative events, marches, and other public engagements to advance equality.
